Tennessee Identity Theft
Under Tennessee law, identity theft occurs when someone uses or possesses the personal identifying information of another individual with the intent to commit any unlawful act. The written law can be found in the Tennessee Identity Theft Victims’ Rights Act (§ 39-14-150).
