South Dakota Identity Theft
In South Dakota, identity theft consists of, among other things, using someone’s personal identifying information in order to fraudulently access their financial resources. The law on this is codified in the SD Identity Crimes Section (specifically §§ 22-40-1 to -18) of the South Carolina legal code.
