Michigan Identity Theft

Per the Michigan AG Identity Theft Information Page, “ID Theft is the wrongful use of YOUR personal information – such as your name, social security number, or credit card number – without your permission by another person to commit fraudulent or criminal acts.”   The law can be found in the Michigan Identity Theft Protection Act.
